MP Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal

Hoshiarpur/ Daljeet Ajnoha/Nov.27 : In a move aimed at promoting humanitarian service and public welfare, Member of Parliament Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal has donated an ambulance to a social welfare organization under his MP Local Area Development (MPLAD) Fund. This initiative is expected to greatly assist in transporting poor, underprivileged, and remote-area residents to hospitals on time, thereby helping save precious lives.Present on the occasion were MLA Dr. Ishank Chabbewal, Dr. Balbir Kumar (Civil Surgeon, Hoshiarpur), Dr. Ranjit Singh (District Family Welfare Officer), Dr. Jatinder Bhatia (District Health Officer), Dr. Pankaj Shiv, Dr. Jasmine, Ravinder Jassal (Deputy Mass Media Officer), Davinder Bhatti, and former sarpanch Bunty of village Mailli, among others.Speaking at the event, Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal stated that the ambulance had been provided through his MPLAD fund to ensure that people from all walks of life—especially the needy and critically ill—can access medical treatment without delay. He remarked that the government continued to make efforts to further strengthen healthcare infrastructure and improve health services for the public.Civil Surgeon Dr. Balbir Kumar commented that the ambulance donated by Dr. Chabbewal would prove a vital step in serving humanity. He noted that it would be of immense benefit during emergency medical situations and contribute significantly to improving health facilities in the region.Members of the social welfare organization expressed heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Chabbewal for the generous donation. They assured that the vehicle would be used solely for humanitarian purposes and to assist as many needy individuals as possible.
