New Heights of Joy: 350 Young

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/May 7 : A unique blend of education and service unfolded at the Government Primary Smart School in Prit Nagar, Hoshiarpur. Renowned Delhi-based NGO “Up Rise Together Foundation” organised a grand event under its special project “Khushiyan Da Busta,” distributing new school bags to all 350 students from nursery to Class V.
***Smiles Return to Needy Children’s Faces***
Institution Director Raminder Singh Sachdeva, visibly emotional, stated that the NGO’s primary goal is to ensure every underprivileged student has at least one school bag for their studies. “No child’s dreams should be hindered by a lack of resources on the path to education,” he emphasised.
***Dignitaries Boost Children’s Spirits***
Kirti Chakra awardee Retired Subedar Charan Singh and foundation member Gurpreet Singh graced the occasion. School in-charge Parveen Kumar warmly welcomed the guests and praised the NGO’s commendable initiative.
Blind Ashram Haryana Mukhi Baba Balbir Singh, Atma Singh, and Onkar Singh Khalsa also attended to bless the children, infusing the event with spiritual and moral energy.

Several prominent local figures witnessed the service initiative, including Retired General Jasvir Singh Dhillon, Professor Bahadur Singh Sunet, Retired Principal Rachna Kaur, Retired Lecturer Neeraj Dhimaan, and Retired Colonel Raghuvir Singh. Gurpreet Singh, Jatinder Kaur, Om Grover, SMC members, village residents, and the entire school staff were also present.
