On the occasion of the 150

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Nov.18 : Hoshiarpur Rural District BJP President Mr. Ajay Kaushal Sethu, Hoshiarpur Urban BJP President Mr. Jaswinder Singh, Hoshiarpur Urban President Mr. Nipun Sharma, Mr. Raghunath Singh, and special guest former MP Mr. Avinash Rai Khanna informed that on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 150th birth anniversary, two foot marches will be held in the district from October 31 to November 25. The aim of these marches is to inspire the youth to carry forward Sardar Patel’s message of unity, patriotism, and legacy.
They said that Sardar Patel was the architect of a united India. With his remarkable vision and strong willpower, the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, united several princely states into one republic, thereby strengthening national unity.
On this occasion, District Youth Officer Ms. Sandeep Kaur and Artist and Director Mr. Ashok Puri stated that this initiative is being organized under Mera Yuva Bharat by the Ministry of Youth Affairs, with the objective of strengthening national unity, patriotism, and civic responsibility among the youth. Under this initiative, foot marches will take place across the district from October 31 to November 25.
They further mentioned that during the Sardar@150 foot march, activities such as street plays, oath-taking under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (Drug-Free India Campaign), and tree plantation drives will also be conducted. Students from schools and colleges, along with citizens of all age groups, will actively participate in the march.
Various media personnel and office staff members were also present on this occasion.
