Police Station Jaijon Doaba In-Charge

Hoshiarpur/ Daljeet Ajnoha/Jan.13 : In a special campaign, ASI Manna Singh, in-charge of Police Station Jaijon Doaba, along with his team, met local shopkeepers and urged them not to sell China manja (string) in their stores.With children across the area excitedly flying kites these days, ASI Manna Singh emphasized that kite-flying is appropriate during festivals but must be done with utmost caution. Since China manja entered the market, it has caused numerous injuries every year, leading to frequent accidents. Despite repeated awareness campaigns by the police and civil administration, such incidents continue to occur.Addressing residents, the officer appealed to parents to prevent their children from using China manja. He warned that strict legal action will be taken against any shopkeeper or individual found selling or using it.
