resident of village Thakkarwal in Hoshiarpur district, took an important decision after retiring from his job that although his entire family lives in Mumbai, but since his father is in the village, he started living with his father. He died last year and as per his decision, he started helping the poor and needy people and got Prabh Aasra Welfare Society registered and with the help of the villagers, he planted 525 trees and installed lights around his two villages, Thakkarwal and Mojomazara and gradually the needy people started coming to his society to tell their problems or compulsions, asking for financial, medical or other help. Recently, a small girl of his village had a problem in her leg, due to which it became difficult for her to walk. So his society got the girl treated in various hospitals and now the girl can walk easily. In a special conversation on this occasion, Captain Charanjit Singh Minhas told that in the coming time a meeting of all the members of the society will be held. In which many more important decisions related to public interest will be taken so that the poor, needy, sick or any other public interest work can be done. He told that Jodh Singh of village Thakkarwal, who lives abroad, has contributed a lot to the society. On this occasion, Vice President Karamjit Singh Manjh, General Secretary Sarabjit Singh Sabi, Cashier Darshan Singh Raja, Senior Advisor Jarnail Singh, Amarjit Singh and other representatives were present.
