Every year 200 youth will be given training in health skilled development.
Important step towards meeting the demand of health care sector.
Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Nov.23 : With the aim of further strengthening the capacity of health services in the state by providing training days to the youth in the health care sector, Punjab State Development Mission has signed an agreement with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences to train at least 200 candidates per year. Giving information to renowned educationist and journalist Sanjiv Kumar in a special meeting, Amrit Singh IAS Director Skill Development Mission Punjab said that in collaboration with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, a Health Center of Excellence will also be established at the Health Skill Development Center in Faridkot. Giving more information on this occasion, Amrit Singh said that under an agreement, skill development certificate courses like Home Health and Operating Theater Technician, Emergency Medical Technician, General Duty Assistant, Dental Assistant, Plaster Technician, Orthopedic Technician, MRI in City will be conducted. Mission Director Amit Singh said that PSM will provide funding, guidance and assistance as well as assist in the recruitment of candidates. It will also monitor the effective implementation of this program. This partnership will play an important role in providing employment to the youth of Punjab.
