Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/May 29 : Rayat Bahra International School organized a special seminar on “Summer Care” to educate young students about staying safe and healthy during the hot weather. The seminar, led by Principal Rashmi Sharma, saw enthusiastic participation from students of classes 2 to 4.
Professor Raj Kiran from the Nursing College addressed the children and explained the causes, symptoms, and preventive measures for heat stroke. She highlighted key symptoms such as excessive sweating, rapid heartbeat, nausea, vomiting, and skin rashes. She advised students to stay hydrated, eat light food, wear loose-fitting clothes, and avoid going outdoors during peak heat.
Principal Rashmi Sharma expressed her gratitude to Prof Raj Kiran for the informative session and emphasized the importance of such awareness programs. She assured that similar seminars would be organized in the future to promote students’ health and well-being.
