Preserving vascular well being constitutes a crucial area of study – Dr. Sukhmeet
Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Nov.25 : Rayat Bahra Professional University organized an informative seminar on “Care of Vascular Health” under the Department of Allied and Healthcare Sciences. The session was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. Harinder Singh Gill, Dean Dr. Atul Khajuria, and Head of Department Dr. Sukhmeet Kaur Bedi.
The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Shabjot Kaur Dhillon, Senior Clinical Officer (Vascular Surgery), who provided in-depth knowledge to students of B.Sc. (MLS) and BAOTT about the care of vascular health, its importance, and common vascular issues. She highlighted practical approaches that students should adopt to understand early signs and prevention of vascular complications.
Sharing insights about the event, Dr. Sukhmeet Bedi stated that such seminars are essential in helping students deeply understand the complexities of the vascular system. She emphasized that scientific understanding of crucial subjects like vascular health is vital for students pursuing careers in the healthcare sector.
The seminar was coordinated by Prof. Saqib Shehnawaz. During the interactive session, students asked several questions, which Dr. Dhillon answered in a clear and effective manner.
At the end of the program, Dr. Sukhmeet expressed gratitude to Dr. Dhillon for delivering an insightful lecture. Among those present were Prof. Pooja Samyal, Prof. Aashish, Prof. Dilawar, Prof. Prabhdeep, Prof. Aditi, Navneet, along with a large number of students.
