Hoshiarpur / Daljeet Ajnoha/June 26 : To ensure the holistic development of children, the Punjab Government, through the Department of Social Security and Women & Child Development, has issued a notification making the registration of all private schools, institutions, and play-way schools working in the field of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) mandatory.
Providing this information, Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain stated that the registration process has begun for all institutions operating in the ECCE sector for children aged 3 to 6 years in Punjab. To complete the mandatory registration, concerned institutions can coordinate with the District Programme Office Hoshiarpur or the respective CDPO office to obtain Application Form No. 1.
In case of any difficulties during the registration process, schools or institutions may contact the District Programme Office or the CDPO of the concerned block for assistance. Every play-way school must be registered without exception.
The Deputy Commissioner further informed that verification will be conducted for all private schools, institutions, and play-way schools operating within the district. She emphasized that adherence to the policies and guidelines set by the government will be strictly ensured.
