Review Meeting Held by Deputy

Gurdas Maan Star Night and Bambukat 2 Star Cast to Grace the Event on February 17
Hoshiarpur / Daljeet Ajnoha/Feb.15 : Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain today chaired a review meeting with officers of various departments at the District Administrative Complex to assess the arrangements for the events scheduled on February 16 and 17 under Nature Fest 2026. She stated that only two days remain for the event and directed all departments to discharge their duties with full seriousness and finalize all preparations well in time.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that a huge turnout of spectators is expected for the Star Night of renowned Punjabi singer Gurdas Maan scheduled on February 17. On the same day, the star cast of the Punjabi film Bambukat 2 will also make a special appearance. Actors Simi Chahal, Ammy Virk, and Karamjit Anmol will interact with the audience. She emphasized that ensuring smooth, safe, and well-organized conduct of all events is the top priority of the district administration.
During the meeting, detailed instructions were issued regarding traffic management, security arrangements, crowd control, parking facilities, drinking water supply, sanitation, lighting, and medical services. The police department was directed to deploy adequate security personnel at the venue and surrounding areas, while the traffic department was instructed to prepare a special plan to ensure smooth vehicular movement.
The health department was asked to ensure the availability of ambulances and medical teams, and the municipal corporation was directed to maintain proper sanitation and uninterrupted drinking water facilities.
Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain stressed that there should be no shortcomings in the arrangements and all departments must work in close coordination to provide a safe and pleasant experience to the public attending the events.
Present on the occasion were Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Nikas Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Amarbir Kaur Bhullar, SDM Mukerian Oyeshi Mandal, RTO Amandeep Kaur Ghuman, Assistant Commissioner Parmpreet Singh, DSP Dev Dutt, Additional Assistant Commissioner Gurpreet Kaur, along with other senior officials.
