Hoshiarpur / Daljeet Ajnoha/Oct.27 : Today, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann addressed the public, party workers and supporters in a program organized in Mehtiana regarding the Chabbewal assembly by-election. During this, he highlighted the importance of Chabbewal by-election and inspired the workers to unite for the victory of the party. Mann said that our candidate Dr. Ishan is young, knows the problems of the constituency and is ready to work hard to solve them. Whatever works will be brought by him for the Chabbewal constituency, those works will be approved by me without any hindrance.
In his address, the Chief Minister mentioned many important schemes implemented by the Punjab Government. He said that new employment opportunities have been created for the youth in the state and relief has been provided to the people of Punjab by waiving electricity bills. Apart from this, basic health services are being provided to the people free of cost through Aam Aadmi Clinic. The Chief Minister said that the Punjab Government has given a Diwali gift to the people of the state by abolishing the condition of NOC for registration of plots. The Chief Minister, while endorsing the efforts of the Aam Aadmi Party, strongly appealed to them to contribute in making the party candidate from Chabbewal, Dr. Ishan Kumar, win with a huge margin and take the development of their area to new heights. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also invited all the workers to put in their full strength in the Chabbewal by-election.
On this occasion, MP Dr. Raj Kumar expressed confidence that the Chabbewal seat will be won by the biggest margin in the four by-elections to be held in the state and will be given to the Aam Aadmi Party. He said that this victory will not only show the faith of the people in the policies of the party, but will also show the acceptance of the general public towards the development work done by them in the constituency.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, AAP candidate from Chabewal Dr Ishan Kumar said that the time has come to create a new history in the area with the blessings of the people of Chabewal. Dr Ishan promised that his priority would be to ensure all-round development of Chabewal, which would include education, health, employment and improvement in infrastructure. He promised that an ITI polytechnic college would be opened in the constituency, bridges would be constructed at Parsowal, Nauneetpur and other necessary places, agro-based industries would be brought in, employment opportunities would be provided to women, football nurseries would be set up. Roads leading to Guru Ghar in the constituency would be made 18 feet wide, roads from Bhullewal Gujjar to Kalewal Bhagaton to Jian, Chabewal to Mona Kalan and Bajrawar to Patti would be widened to 18 feet and apart from this any other work that people would bring to his attention, he is committed to do it wholeheartedly. Dr. Ishank particularly emphasized that if they are elected, new opportunities will be created for the youth in sports and education.
Dr. Ishank appealed to all the workers to work hard and diligently considering this election as an important step towards the better future of Punjab. He said that these elections will decide the future direction of Chabewal and I am confident that the people of Chabewal will stand with us. He thanked all the people who came and appealed for their cooperation and support.
