Special Lecture on Guru Tegh

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Nov.16 : A special lecture on “Guru Tegh Bahadur’s Martyrdom and Its Contemporary Relevance” was organized by the Postgraduate Department of Punjabi at Shri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College, Mahilpur, under the Sikh Educational Council.Renowned Sikh thinker Prof. Avtar Singh from Phagwara delivered the keynote address, highlighting Guru Tegh Bahadur’s sacrifice as a timeless lesson in freedom and human rights. Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh presided over the event, which was conducted by Head of Department Dr. J. B. Sekhon.Prof. Avtar Singh was honored with a set of books and a memento. Faculty members, students, and dignitaries attended the program in large numbers.
