Hoshiarpur/ August 23/Daljeet Ajnoha : In alignment with the national mission of making India 100% liferafe, DIET Hoshiarpur has been condueling a series of Ullas Workshops under the Ullas Nav Bharaf Saaksharta Karyakram, with the goal of enrolling maximum learners in the disfrief during the current academie session.
The series of workshops began in May 2025, with initial sessions held in May and on 22nd, 23rd, 24th July and 6th August, specifically targeting Nodal Officers from various blocks of the district. These workshops aimed to provide in-depth orientation on the Ullas portal, ifs mobile app usage, and the strategie role of field-level nodal officers in expanding oufreach.
Confinuing the momentum, a special workshop was organized foday at DIET Hoshiarpur for Block Primary Education Officers (BPEOS) and Block Nodal Officers (BNOS). This workshop was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Shikha Sharma, Leefurer af DIET and Disfrief Coordinator for the Ullas Program. She emphasized the importance of colleclive effort in making the liferaey movement a success and appealed to all block nodals to actively register school users and support DIET Hoshiarpur in achieving the learner farget.
Resource persons for the workshop included Dr. Arjuna, Ms. Baljif Kaur, and Dr. Rifu Kumra, who played a pivolal role in registering block users on the Ullas portal and giving a comprehensive demonstration of the Ullas mobile application and portal functionalities.
The workshops also highlighted erucial themes such as the Nafional Educafion Policy (NEP) 2020, Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN), and the overarching vision of a liferafe India. Participants were sensitized on how their roles ean contribute significantly to bridging liferacy gaps in the district.
With these workshops, DIET Hoshiarpur has reaffirmed ifs commitment fo fostering educational equity and ensuring that no learner is left behind. The distriel now moves ahead with renewed energy and strategic direction fowards achieving ifs liferacy mission.
