Vigilance Bureau organized an awareness seminar at James Cambridge School
Hoshiarpur/Daljit Ajanoha : Vigilance Awareness Week is being celebrated from 28 October to 3 November under the theme ‘Culture of honesty for the prosperity of the nation’. As part of this, an awareness seminar was organized at James Cambridge School, Hoshiarpur on Wednesday. James Cambridge School Chairman Sanjeev Vasal, CEO Raghav Vasal attended the seminar as chief guests while the program was presided over by DSP Vigilance Bureau Hoshiarpur Manish Kumar.
DSP Manish Kumar inspired the students and staff present about the importance of devotion to duty and honesty. On this occasion, speech competitions were organized among the students on the topic ‘Culture of honesty for the prosperity of the nation’, in which the winners who came first, second and third were awarded.
DSP Vigilance administered the anti-corruption oath and gave information about the functioning of the Vigilance Bureau. He made people aware that any person can register a complaint against an officer demanding bribe in government work on the Vigilance Bureau’s toll-free number 1800-1800-1000, anti-corruption action line number 95012-00200 or website www.vigilancebureau.punjab. gov.in.
Manish Kumar thanked all the guests, school staff and students present in the seminar and called upon them to unite against corruption and support the Vigilance Bureau. On this occasion, James Cambridge School Principal Sharat Kumar, Vice Principal Jasjit Mundi, school staff and about 450 students participated.
