Wave of Joy Over Jathedar

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Mar.23 : A wave of joy swept through Panthic circles following the appointment of Jathedar Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa from Nawanshahr, an SGPC member, as the Chief Bulara of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), Amritsar Sahib. The decision was announced by SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami.
Villagers from Khothran and surrounding areas congratulated the highly respected Jathedar Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa on his new role. He was honoured with siropas by Dr. Gurnam Singh Rasulpur, Principal Sant Baba Dalip Singh Memorial Khalsa College, Dumeli; S. Sukhwindar Singh Kaka; S. Sarabjit Singh Happy; S. Tarjan Singh Binning; former sarpanch Shri Ashok Kumar; Shri Satpal; S. Amritpal Singh Khalsa; and Shri Krishna Kumar Naddha.
On the occasion, Jathedar Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa vowed to discharge his duties with full dedication. He pledged to work tirelessly for the propagation and promotion of Sikhism, while extending all possible support to local gurdwara management committees in organising religious activities.
