Hoshiarpur / Daljeet Ajnoha/July 7 : In a significant step toward strengthening the educational infrastructure in Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha constituency, development works have been given a fresh boost. Member of Parliament Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal informed that a total amount of ₹5.64 crore has been sanctioned for the construction of boundary walls in 100 government schools of Hoshiarpur district.
He stated that this funding will ensure better security of school premises and provide a safer and more conducive environment for students. The amount will be utilized specifically in those schools where boundary walls are either completely missing or are in a dilapidated condition. Dr. Raj emphasized that this investment in education will play a vital role in safeguarding school buildings and educational materials.
He further added that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, the Punjab government is continuously working to improve the basic infrastructure of government schools, and noticeable progress is being made to enhance the quality of education across the state.
In the same context, MLA from Chabbewal constituency Dr. Eishank shared that ₹82.80 lakh has been specially approved for the schools of Chabbewal Assembly segment. This announcement is not only a positive development for the schools in the region but also reflects that MLA Dr. Eishank is actively working for holistic development and ensuring necessary grants are being secured from the government for the same.
