Hoshiarpur/ Daljeet Ajnoha/Nov.25 : Members of the Ambedkar Sena and people associated with the Hindu community staged a peaceful protest outside the Mahilpur police station, condemning a video uploaded on social media that allegedly contained offensive language against the Scheduled Caste community and the Hindu religion.The protesters demanded strict action against the culprits and warned that if authorities failed to act promptly, they would be compelled to launch a larger agitation.Speaking to the media, Ambedkar Sena president Kulwant Bhuno, Municipal Councilor of Mahilpur Balwinder Marwaha, and Asish Prabhakar said it was unfortunate that at a time when the entire world was commemorating the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, certain anti-social elements were attempting to spread hatred in the name of religion.They stressed that society would not tolerate those who use disrespectful language against religious leaders or caste-based slurs.Among those present at the protest were Armaan Sandhu, Manu Sandhu, Sunil Kumar, Harman Lakha, Sameer Sehgal, Binu Mall Majhara, and Arvinder Singh, along with a large gathering from the SC and Hindu communities.
