IK Gujral Punjab Technical University

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Jan. 23 : IK Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) Hoshiarpur Campus marked National Youth Day and the festival of Basant Panchami under the chairmanship of the university’s honourable Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Sushil Mittal, and the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Chawla, Director of IKGPTU Hoshiarpur Campus.The event was organised by the NSS unit and Red Ribbon Club, following government directives and under the mentorship of Preet Kohli, Assistant Director, Department of Youth Services, Hoshiarpur. Dr. Chandar Prakash, NSS Coordinator for all colleges under IKGPTU, served as the special guest and delivered a lecture on the messages of Swami Vivekananda.Five competitions were held on the occasion: rangoli-making, poster-making, writing (in Hindi/English/Punjabi), collage-making, and kite-flying. Winners received trophies and certificates.
