Several Key Projects to be Inaugurated; Cabinet Minister Reviews Preparations and Arrangements
Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/April 4 : Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann will lay the foundation stone for development projects worth crores of rupees in the Shachaurasi Assembly segment on April 7 and also inaugurate several initiatives. A large public gathering will be organised for this purpose in the nearby village of Bhikhowal.
Parliamentary Affairs, NRI Affairs, and Jails Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh visited the event site today to review the arrangements and preparations. He stated that Chief Minister Mann will lay the foundation stone for a CHC (Community Health Centre) being constructed at a cost exceeding Rs 9 crore in Haryana. Upon completion, this project will provide better healthcare facilities to over 40 villages in the area.
He added that health and wellness centres will be built in seven villages of the Assembly segment at a cost of around Rs 4 crore, with the foundation stones to be laid by the Chief Minister.
Dr. Ravjot Singh further informed that playgrounds will be developed in several villages of the constituency, along with public libraries, and their foundation stones will also be laid on Tuesday. He said the Chief Minister will initiate several important projects for Hoshiarpur.
Municipal Improvement Trust Chairman Gurbinder Singh Pabla, Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain, and Additional Deputy Commissioner Nikas Kumar were present at the site. The Cabinet Minister directed that all arrangements for the programme be completed on time.
