CM Di Yogshala Initiative Boosting

oshiarpur/ May 7/Daljeet Ajnoha : Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain stated that the ambitious and public welfare initiative “CM Di Yogshala” launched by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is steadily increasing awareness about health, yoga, and positive lifestyles among people in the district. This special initiative by the Punjab government is playing a key role in connecting thousands to yoga, paving the way for a healthy and prosperous Punjab.
The Deputy Commissioner explained that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s goal is to ensure the physical and mental benefits of yoga reach every section of society, enabling every citizen to lead a healthy, stress-free, and energetic life. Through the “CM Di Yogshala” campaign, the Punjab government is providing free yoga training to people, helping realize the vision of a vibrant “Rangla Punjab.”
Regular yoga classes are being held across various villages, wards, parks, and community centers in Hoshiarpur district. Currently, 731 yoga classes are operational in the district, with large numbers of women, youth, elderly, and students participating daily to practice asanas, pranayama, and meditation.
Trained yoga instructors are also imparting knowledge on healthy lifestyles, stress management, and essential daily health tips alongside yoga. Experts note that regular yoga practice reduces mental stress, boosts immunity, and keeps individuals physically and mentally healthier.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain said, “The ‘CM Di Yogshala’ initiative launched by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is a commendable effort towards building a healthy and aware society. The increasing participation of citizens in the district shows that people are becoming conscious of yoga. We appeal to all citizens to join their nearest yoga center, practice yoga regularly, and contribute to creating a healthy and vibrant Punjab.”
With the support of the district administration and relevant departments, the “CM Di Yogshala” campaign is being successfully implemented in the district, with plans to connect even more people to this initiative in the coming times.
