Mukh Mantri Tirth Yatra Yojna:

Hoshiarpur/ Daljeet Ajnoha)July 25 :  Under the Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme (Mukh Mantri Tirth Yatra Yojna)
a bus carrying devotees from Khanpur Thiara village in the Shamchaurasi assembly constituency was flagged off today for darshan at Shri Amritsar Sahib. Punjab Cabinet Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh ceremonially waved the bus off amid a large gathering of local residents, panchayat members and devotees.
Addressing the gathering, Cabinet Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh said the Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is committed to public welfare and respects the sentiments of all sections by prioritising initiatives linked to religious faith. He explained that the Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme(Mukh Mantri Tirth Yatra Yojna)
aims to facilitate visits to sacred sites for devotees who are unable to undertake the journey on their own.
Dr. Singh said the scheme ensures necessary arrangements for travellers, including transportation and other essential facilities, so they can complete their religious journey without difficulty. He added that the government’s objective is not only to undertake development works but also to fully honour the social and religious sentiments of the people.
Wishing the devotees well, he urged them to offer prayers at Shri Harmandir Sahib for the welfare of all and for the progress and prosperity of Punjab. He also said the Punjab government will expand such welfare-oriented schemes in future so that more people may benefit.
Devotees present at the event thanked the Punjab government and Cabinet Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh, saying the scheme provided them a golden opportunity to visit Shri Amritsar Sahib. They added that the programme has proven highly beneficial to all sections of society.
