PSTC portal grievances must be

Hoshiarpur/ July 29/Daljeet Ajnoha : A district-level review meeting of the Punjab State Traders Commission (PSTC) was held on Wednesday at the District Management Complex, chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner , Dr Nidhi Kumud Bambah, to ensure speedy and effective redressal of traders’ grievances received through the PSTC portal. Officers from various district departments attended and held detailed discussions on clearing pending issues faced by traders.
During the meeting, complaints logged on the portal were found to relate to law and order, Punjab State Power Corporation, Rural Development and Panchayats, local bodies and banking services. Dr Bambah directed the concerned departments to ensure time-bound resolution of each complaint received on the PSTC portal, prioritising cases as necessary. She instructed departments to immediately update the portal with actions taken and remarks after disposal, so that grievance redressal remains transparent and effective.
Assistant Commissioner Sumit Mudh said that regular weekly meetings will now be held at district and sub-division levels to expedite resolution of traders’ problems. These meetings will review portal complaints and coordinate with relevant departments for prompt action. Darpan Saini, chairman of the Punjab Traders Commission, Hoshiarpur, briefed officials on the key issues affecting traders and appealed for their immediate resolution.
Present on the occasion were State Secretary Amit Negi; SDMs Kanwaljeet Singh (Dasya), Sanjeev Kumar (Garhshankar), Lovepreet Singh (Tanda) and Parampreet Singh (Hoshiarpur); SPs Navneet Kaur and Daljeet Singh Khakh; and other district-level department officials.
