Bram Shankar Jimpa hands appointment

Hoshiarpur /Daljeet Ajnoha /July 31 : Continuing the Punjab government’s focus on welfare and job creation, MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa on Friday handed over appointment letters to eight Anganwadi workers and 38 Anganwadi helpers. Speaking at the event, Jimpa congratulated the newly appointed staff and highlighted the vital role Anganwadi personnel play in reaching government schemes to the vulnerable and needy sections of society.
Jimpa said the Social Security Department’s work is crucial and that the Punjab government is prioritising the transparent filling of long-vacant posts across departments to make public services more effective. He added that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann-led government is continuously working to provide employment to youth and to strengthen the administrative machinery, and that the recent recruitment completes a long-pending process of filling vacant positions.
He said the government aims to ensure that development and welfare schemes reach the last person in society, and has directed all departments to work proactively so citizens receive timely and improved services. jimpa urged the newly appointed Anganwadi workers and helpers to perform their duties with full dedication, honesty and commitment.
Present on the occasion were Hoshiarpur Cooperative Bank chairman Vikram Sharma, councillor Surinder Kumar, Praveen Saini, CDPO Ravinder Kaur and other dignitaries.
