Eligible persons can register claims and objections with booth level officers during the camp

Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Komal Mittal said that special camps are being organized by the Election Commission under the electoral roll revision program where the claims and objections of eligible persons will be received.
Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Komal Mittal, giving information in this regard, said that these special camps will be organized on November 9 and 10 and November 23 and 24 at the polling booths as per the improvement program based on eligibility date 01-01-2025. She said that during these days the booth level officers will receive the claims and objections of the eligible persons regarding continuous improvement of 01-01-2025 at the respective polling booths from 9 am to 5 pm.
It may be mentioned that these claims and objections will be settled by 24th December 2024 and the final publication of voter lists will be on 6th January 2025. On special campaign days November 9 and 10 and November 23 and 24, BLOs will sit at their respective polling stations from 9 am to 5 pm and receive claims and objections from eligible persons. The Deputy Commissioner said that the representatives of the political parties should appoint their polling agents to assist the booth level officers at the polling booths. She said that persons who have reached the age of 18 years or more on January 1, 2025 can fill up Form No. 6 to register their name in the electoral roll. Form No. 7 can be filled for Objection or Deduction/Correction of Name in Voter List while Form No. 8 for Duplicate Voter Card can be filled in the office of Booth Level Officer/Assistant Election Registration Officer or Voter Helpline App or NVS .P. Online application can be done through the portal.
