Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/April 14 : As per the directions of the District Youth Officer of My Bharat Hoshiarpur, the 135th birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar, the father of the Indian Constitution, was celebrated by Bahu-Rang Kala Manch Hoshiarpur here today by Garlanding the statue of Baba Saheb at the local Memorial of Baba Saheb at Bhagat Nagar . On this occasion, Deputy Director Education Department (Retd.) Ashwani Kumar Datta, eminent social worker Dr. M. Jamil Bali, MC Varun Sharma, President of Sat Sri Akal Doaba Ramesh Kumar, and Bahu-Rang Kala Manch Patron Director Ashok Puri were specially present.
After offering floral garlands to Baba Saheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Dr. M. Jamil Bali stated that Dr. Ambedkar’s ideology considers the entire Indian as one nation; he was a resilient leader, an excellent economist, an educationist, an editor, a social reformer, and the creator of the Constitution. Following this, retired Deputy Director Ashwani Kumar Datta said that the creation of the India envisioned by Baba Saheb is still pending. He emphasized that even today, people should prioritize education as the primary principle of life. Thereafter, Ashok Puri, Director of Bahu-Rang Kala Manch, said that social development cannot be achieved by remembering Baba Saheb for just one day; instead, his teachings must be adopted throughout one’s lifetime. He shared that Bahu-Rang Kala Manch is organizing various programs for students, including painting competitions, speech contests, awareness on the importance of cleanliness, street plays, signature campaigns on standees, and educational outreach.
