BJP Marks 47th Foundation Day

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/April 6 : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrated its 47th foundation day with a flag-hoisting ceremony at the district BJP office, presided over by district president Nipun Sharma. Province representative Madam Anita Somprakash served as the chief guest and formally hoisted the flag to inaugurate the event. Party office-bearers and workers attended, enthusiastically participating while recalling the party’s glorious history.
Addressing the gathering, Madam Anita Somprakash extended heartfelt foundation day greetings to the workers. She described the BJP not merely as a political party, but as a robust ideology dedicated to nation service, good governance, and public welfare. Emphasizing the party’s motto of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas,” she credited it with steering the nation in a new direction since its inception. She urged workers to relentlessly propagate the party’s policies and principles to every individual, ensuring government schemes reach the last person in society.
Somprakash highlighted the BJP’s 47-year journey as an inspiring saga of service, dedication, and struggle, prioritizing transparency, development, and national interest in politics. She noted the party’s historic decisions uplifting the poor, farmers, youth, and women, propelling India towards continuous progress.
Former Mayor Shiv Sood acquainted workers with the party’s illustrious history, stating that by following the paths shown by great leaders like Syama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, the BJP has become the world’s largest political party, working for the nation’s all-round development.
Concluding the programme, District President Sharma reaffirmed the commitment to strengthen the party’s ideology and fortify the organization down to the booth level. All attendees united in expressing confidence in contributing to nation-building and vowed to propel the party to new heights.
