Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/April 20 : Following health department guidelines, Civil Surgeon Hoshiarpur Dr. Mandeep Kamal conducted a surprise inspection of the Aam Aadmi Clinics in Paldi and Mahilpur. The entire staff was found on duty, and the prescribed medicines were available in adequate stock.
Addressing the staff, Dr. Kamal directed them to ensure patients receive maximum benefits from government-provided health services. He emphasized special attention to maternal and child health services, including timely registration of pregnant women. High-risk cases must be listed separately and prioritized for care, he added.
Dr. Kamal also instructed the staff to promptly enter all patient data online, enabling the department to prepare accurate health plans. Timely data entry helps identify diseases early and facilitates prompt treatment, he noted.
The Civil Surgeon thoroughly checked the cleanliness of the health centres and urged staff to maintain high hygiene standards. He inspected the vaccine cold chain points and issued directions on bio-medical waste management, stressing adherence to departmental protocols.
During the visit, Dr. Kamal interacted with patients undergoing check-ups. They expressed satisfaction, noting that prescribed medicines are provided free at the clinic, along with necessary tests. He also verified medicine stocks and directed staff to requisition supplies in advance to avoid shortages and ensure uninterrupted services for the public.
The centre’s medical and paramedical staff were present during the inspection.
