Dr. Ambedkar’s Birthday Celebrated

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/May 03 : Village Bohan of district Hoshiarpur the Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Welfare Society fervently celebrated the birth anniversary of Baba Sahib Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar with immense love and devotion. The society’s team, youth volunteers, and villagers worked tirelessly with dedication and unity to make the event a resounding success, an effort truly commendable.
Organized by Stage arrangements, Natak Dada & Film Production, the programme featured the play Kranti Baba Saheb Ki, students’ speeches, and insightful addresses by chief guests Amandeep Singh Sidhu (Phule Shahu Ambedkar activist) and Dr. Jaswant Rai PhD (Research Officer, Language Department, Hoshiarpur). They shed light on Baba Sahib’s life and ideals. On this occasion, Madam Kulwinder Devi, Jashanpreet, and other prominent figures were also honoured. The event proved thoroughly inspirational.
Dignitaries present included Sarpanch Gurcharan Singh Mantu of Bohan, panchayat members, Additional SDE Manrup Singh, anganwadi workers, Chairperson of the Boys’ Committee Madam Kulwindera Kaur, and Society Chairman Rajinder Kumar Bhatia. Society Chairman Rajinder Kumar Bhatia congratulated the entire committee, stating that the event demonstrated how pure intentions can spark a massive wave even from a village.
