Hoshiarpur/Dec 11 /Daljeet Ajnoha : Lamrin Tech Skills University (LTSU), Punjab celebrated its 4th Foundation Day with great fervour and devotion. The university’s foundation stone was laid by the then Chief Minister of Punjab, S. Charanjit Singh Channi, on December 10, 2021. Lamrin Tech Skills University, established under State Act No. 22 of 2021, is the first-of-its-kind skill university in Punjab dedicated to skilling the youth for gainful employment.
Shri Nirmal Singh Rayat, Chancellor of LTSU, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He was warmly welcomed by senior university officials. In his address, he thanked the faculty, staff, and students for organizing a meaningful event to commemorate the 350th death anniversary of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, coinciding with the university’s Foundation Day.
To mark the occasion, a Path of Shri Sukhmani Sahib was conducted. Students of Rayat International School performed Shabad Kirtan, followed by a soulful kirtan recital by Bhai Gurpreet Singh Khalsa, Hazoori Ragi of Shri Harmandir Sahib, along with his jatha. An Ardas was offered seeking blessings from the Guru Sahibans.
Sh. Inderpal Singh Chada, Director (Overseas), Shri Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle, Ludhiana, enlightened the audience about the life and supreme sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
Prof. B. S. Satyal, Registrar, spoke about the unparalleled sacrifices of Bhai Sati Dass, Bhai Mati Dass, and Bhai Diala Ji.
Dr. A. S. Chawla, Vice Chancellor, highlighted the sacrifices of the Sikh Gurus.
Prominent attendees included Vimal Manhotra (CEO), Dr. Navneet Chopra, Dr. N. S. Gill, Dr. H. S. Dhami, Dr. Ashutosh Sharma, Dr. V. K. Saini, Er. Amardeep Singh, Er. Mandeep Atwal, Prof. Narinder Bhumbla, Prof. Gurpreet Saini, and other senior officials, staff, and students.
The event concluded with the distribution of Langar Prasad to all present.
