Lohri Celebrated with Grandeur at

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Jan.15 : Lohri was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Sant Baba Dalip Singh Memorial Khalsa College Domeli, an educational institution run by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.College Principal Dr. Gurnam Singh Rasulpur, along with staff members and students, performed the traditional bonfire ritual. Following the ceremony, peanuts and rewari (sesame sweets) were distributed among everyone.On this occasion, Dr. Gurnam Singh Rasulpur extended Lohri greetings to all and highlighted the significance of the festival in Punjabi culture, noting its association with the change of seasons. Madam Romy enthralled the gathering by singing the popular Lohri folk song ‘Sundar Mundariye’. Students created a vibrant musical atmosphere. The college staff and students were present in large numbers.
