A Mega Blood Donation Camp was jointly organized by the Blood Donors & Welfare Society, Dasuya, and Rotary Club Dasuya Greater, where a large number of voluntary blood donors participated and contributed towards the noble cause of saving lives. On this occasion, noted social worker and senior journalist Sanjiv Kumar also donated blood and expressed pride in being a part of this humanitarian initiative.
MLA Karambir Singh Ghuman graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Among the distinguished guests present were Arun Kumar Sharma, Rajesh Mahajan, Mukesh Ranjan (MRC Group), Vijay Sharma, Vijay Mall Dasuya, Sushil Kumar Pinki, Ravi Pradhan, Sunny Rajput, Advocate Bhupender Singh Ghuman, Dr. Nagra, Pankaj Chand, Pandit Pawan Sharma, and Sanjeev Sharma, along with several other eminent personalities of the city.
After donating blood, Sanjiv Kumar said that blood donation is one of the noblest forms of human service, as a single unit of blood has the potential to save several precious lives. He expressed immense pride and satisfaction in participating in the camp and urged healthy citizens, especially the youth, to donate blood regularly to help patients in need.
He congratulated and appreciated the organizers for successfully conducting the blood donation camp and expressed hope that they would continue organizing such meaningful social welfare initiatives in the future. He also extended his best wishes to all the distinguished guests, voluntary blood donors, and citizens who attended and supported the event.
The organizing committee of the Blood Donors & Welfare Society, Dasuya included Chairman Saurabh Phull, President Manish Choudhary, Parminder Bablu, Billa Arora, Dilbagh Singh Bundal, Jaspal Singh Masiti, Jasbir Saini Arora, Dr. Ranbir Singh Arora, Balvinder Kaur, and Simranjeet Singh Sodhi, who played a significant role in making the event successful.
Representing Rotary Club Dasuya Greater were President Sharanjit Singh Arora, Secretary Amandeep Singh Arora, CA Sushil Chadda, Sanjeev Sharma, D.R. Ralhan, Kumar Maini, Mukesh Kumar, and Davender Kumar Rosy, who actively coordinated the arrangements for the camp.
Blood collection was carried out by the medical teams of Doaba Blood Bank, Jalandhar, and Civil Hospital Blood Bank, Dasuya.
Concluding the event, Sanjiv Kumar thanked all the organizers, guests, voluntary blood donors, medical teams, and respected citizens for supporting this noble cause. He emphasized that collective community efforts are essential to promote voluntary blood donation and strengthen the spirit of humanity by helping save precious lives.
