In a moment of great pride for Punjab Police, two of its officers have been selected for the prestigious President’s Police Medal.
Shri M.F. Farooqi, IPS, ADGP Punjab, has been awarded the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service, recognizing his outstanding leadership, professionalism, and long-standing dedication to policing.
Alongside him, Inspector Anil Kumar has been honored with the President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service for his exemplary performance and commitment in the line of duty.
The medals will be conferred by the Hon’ble President of India in a special ceremony to be held later this year in New Delhi.
This information was shared with senior journalist Sanjiv Kumar, who highlighted that this honor not only brings recognition to the individual officers but also brings immense pride to the Punjab Police force as a whole.
