Hoshiarpur/ Jan 17 : Daljeet Ajnoha l Punjab Police launched raids at around 46 locations in Hoshiarpur district today as part of the second phase of their Cordons and Search Operations (CASO).In Balvir Colony, a heavy contingent of police personnel, led by ADGP Internal Security Shive Kumar Verma, conducted searches in the area. Speaking on the occasion, ADGP Verma revealed that nearly 50% recovery has been achieved so far in the district, with ongoing raids to sustain the momentum.He added that under the CASO operation in Hoshiarpur, 1,100 FIRs have been registered, 1,500 individuals taken into custody, properties worth ₹13 crore seized, and 11 structures demolished.
