Jalandhar/Daljeet Ajnoha/Jan.4 : Family values and sanskar play a decisive role in the grooming and career-building of a child, especially in middle-class families, said Shakuntala Devi during an interaction with senior journalist Sanjiv Kumar.
Shakuntala Aggarwal shared her experiences as a mother and said that the success of a child is not only the outcome of individual hard work but also the silent struggle, sacrifices, and dedication of parents. She highlighted that the role of a mother in shaping discipline, ethics, and determination is extremely significant.
“A child’s struggle is visible to society, but the struggle of parents—particularly mothers and fathers—remains behind the curtain. Parents devote their entire lives to shaping their children’s future,” she said.
A deeply religious woman, Shakuntala Aggarwal said she regularly performs prayers herself for the welfare and success of her family. She appealed to women to remain devoted to their children’s education, career, and family values, stating that prosperity naturally follows such dedication.
