Shaheed Udham Singh’s 87th

Hoshiarpur/ Daljeet Ajnoha /August 1— The 87th martyrdom day of revolutionary Shaheed Udham Singh was observed with deep reverence by the Department of Animal Husbandry, Hoshiarpur, and Lines International.
Those participating from the Department of Animal Husbandry, Punjab, Hoshiarpur, included Deputy Director Dr. Gurdeep Singh, Assistant Director Dr. Avatar Singh, Surgeon Dr. Manmohan Singh Dardi, Pathologist Dr. Dheeraj Kumar Sharma, retired DVI Surinder Kumar, DVI Rajinder Kumar,DVI Ram Lubhaiya, DVI Baljinder Singh, and clerks Rahul and Surinder Kumar.
Representatives from Lines Club International included President Line Mukhtiar Singh Dhaliwal (former Special Secretary, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir, Lines International), Secretary Line Dr. Tejbir Singh Dhaliwal, First Vice President Dr. Prem Bhardwaj, Lines Club Hoshiarpur SAMPREDAN Active Director Line M. P. Sidhu, Line Jatindarpal (Director) and Line Mohan Lal (Treasurer). Rihana Jatta Kohinoor of Lines International (321 D) also took part.
Participants paid floral tributes by placing roses on a photograph of Shaheed Udham Singh — the revolutionary who avenged the Jallianwala Bagh massacre by shooting Michael O’Dwyer in London — honoring his sacrifice for India’s freedom.
