Registration can now be done till 15 December to cast votes
Hoshiarpur / Daljeet Ajnoha/Nov.18 : District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur Komal Mittal, while giving information, said that the date of registration for the election of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (Board) has been extended to 15 December by the Chief Commissioner Gurdwara Elections. She said that according to the latest schedule, the preparation and printing of voter lists will be done from 16 December 2024 to 2 January 2025. After this, the voter lists will be published on 3 January 2025.
She said that the last date for receiving claims and objections will be 24 January 2025. She said that the claims and objections will be resolved by 5 February 2025 as per Rule No. 10 (3) of the Sikh Gurdwara Board Elections 1959. After this, the supplementary lists will be prepared and printed on 24 February 2025. She also said that the final publication of the lists for the election of the Shiromani Parbandhak Committee will be done on 25 February 2025.
