It is difficult to imagine a clean and healthy society without the hard work and dedication of Safai Mitras – Gurvinder Singh Bahra
Hoshiarpur ; Daljeet Ajnoha : Oct.10- A special program was organized for Safai Mitras working in the Municipal Corporation at Rayat Bahra Education City. The purpose of this program was to entertain and honor Safai Mitras. Various types of recreational games were organized for the Safai Mitras in the program, in which the employees participated enthusiastically.
On this occasion, Rayat Bahra Group Chairman Gurvinder Singh Bahra welcomed the Safai Mitras and expressed gratitude towards them, stating, “It is difficult to imagine a clean and healthy society without the hard work and dedication of Safai Mitras. Rayat Bahra Group always takes its responsibilities towards every section of society seriously, and this program is a part of that spirit.” He also mentioned that Rayat Bahra Group will continue to make such efforts in the future so that dedicated workers like Safai Mitras receive proper respect.
Former MP Avinash Rai Khanna also participated in the program, stating in his address, “Safai Mitras have an important place in society. Their work is extremely important for the protection of our health and environment. The contribution of sanitation workers to the cleanliness and development of society is invaluable, and we should always express our gratitude towards them.”
On this occasion, Municipal Corporation Mayor Surinder Kumar, Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Saini, and Deputy Mayor Ranjita Chaudhary praised the event organized by Rayat Bahra Group, noting that such programs are helpful in bringing about positive changes in society. They commended the effort to promote the importance of cleanliness in society through the honor of Safai Mitras.
Assistant Commissioner Sandeep Tiwari also participated in the program and thanked the management of Rayat Bahra Group, stating that such honorable programs for Safai Mitras increase their morale. He remarked, “This effort by Rayat Bahra is an important step towards including all sections of society.”
During the event, Safai Mitras pledged with the students of Rayat Bahra Group to make Hoshiarpur city clean, beautiful, and safe. Additionally, the students took the Safai Mitras on a tour of the campus, which included the library, computer labs, and more.
In conclusion, Safai Mitras expressed their gratitude towards the Chairman and Management of Rayat Bahra Group, stating that they received great encouragement from such programs and will perform their duties with the same dedication in the future.
Dr. Chander Mohan, Campus Director, while giving a vote of thanks at the end of the program, stated, “Rayat Bahra group always respects every section of society and holds the contributions of Safai Mitras in high regard. In the future, such programs will continue to be organized, and their work will be appreciated. Our aim is to recognize the contribution of every person and encourage them, so they can perform their duties in a better way.”
On this occasion, Principal Dr. Pallavi Pandit, Dr. Meenakshi Chand, Dr. R. N. Singh, Dr. Gurjit Singh, Dr. Maninder Grover, Dr. Kuldeep Walia, Harinder Jaswal, Kuldeep Rana and the entire campus staff were present.
