Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Dec.21 : Three-day nature camp organised in Arniala Shahpur under environment education under the guidance of Punjab State Council for Science and Technology and District Education Officer Secondary Madam Lalita Arora concluded leaving indelible memories today. 50 children from five government schools participated in this camp organised under the supervision of District Coordinator Ashok Kalia. During this, Block Coordinator Rajiv Sharma, Jagjit Singh Hardeep Kumar Amandeep Singh and Lovejinder Singh gave important information to the children as resource persons and requested them to stay connected with nature. Natural education expert Dr Amandeep said that if we have not taken care of nature then we will be left with nothing but regret. He said that nature always gives us something. Its balance should not be disturbed. He asked the children to have complete information about every living creature of nature. He said that animals are friends of humans. Just as we want to keep our surroundings safe, they also want a sense of security. On this occasion, lecturer Sandeep Sood said that natural sources should not be spoiled. We cannot create water by any means. If water is not taken care of, life on earth will become difficult. He said that during the camp, children were also told the method of identifying wild animals from their footprints. Many children come from rural areas, so this information can prove to be beneficial for them. Coordinator Ashok Kalia expressed gratitude to the participants of the camp and said that the children will benefit from the information given in it. He said that they will always remember the way of experiencing nature in the nature camp. In the end, the children were honored by giving certificates.
