Trilingual Kavi Darbar in Hoshiarpur

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Nov.12  Hoshiarpur will host a Trilingual Kavi Darbar on November 14, 2025, in celebration of Punjabi Month. The event is being organized by the Office of the District Language Officer, Hoshiarpur, under the guidance of the Director of the Punjab Government’s Department of Languages, in collaboration with Punjabi Vikas Manch, Haryana, and Shri Guru Nanak Dev Educational Trust, Dallewal.The programme will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Shri Guru Nanak College of Education, Dallewal. Ms. Aashika Jain, Deputy Commissioner of Hoshiarpur, will preside as the chief guest, while Prof. Manoj Kapoor from Triple M School, Hoshiarpur, will be the special guest.Prominent poets representing Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu will share their compositions during the event. From Punjabi, participants include Jasbir Singh Dhiman, Navtej Gadhdiwala, Raghbir Singh Terkiana, and Prof. Malkit Jaura. Representing Hindi will be Meenakshi Mainnan, Anju V. Ratti, Inderjit Chaudhary, and Principal Timatni Ahluwalia. The Urdu lineup features Muhammad Ejaz Farooqi, Subhash Gupta Shafiq, Kamal Nain, and Vikasdeep Musafir.To mark the occasion, the Department of Languages will also organize a two-day book exhibition on November 13 and 14. Literature enthusiasts, scholars, teachers, and language forums from schools and colleges have been invited to attend the exhibition, explore literary works, and participate in the region’s vibrant cultural exchange.
