Truck hits bus from behind

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/November 01 : A truck hit a tourist bus from behind on the Hoshiarpur/Chandigarh main road at around 5:30 am on the outskirts of the town of Mahilpur, due to which a person  in the bus died on the spot. 2 passengers including the truck driver were injured. According to the information received, truck driver Sudarshan Singh son of Surjeet Singh resident of Bhagla (Solan) said that he was going to Hoshiarpur with cement from Nalagarh on HP 12 D 4010 truck, when he reached the said place near the bus (HR 38 AB 7897) of Goyal Tourist Company which was taking passengers from Delhi to Jammu, suddenly applied brakes, due to which the truck collided with that bus, due to this collision, a person Anurag son of Bhagwan Lal from Uttar Pradesh died on the spot. In the accident, conductor Sanjay Kumar son of Jagveer Singh, resident of Uttar Pradesh, was injured. Kamla was referred to Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur as her condition was more serious. The bus driver is said to have fled from the spot. ASI Daljit Singh of Mahilpur police station reached the spot and started legal proceedings.
