Hoshiarpur /August 2/Daljeet Ajnoha : A National Seminar on “Entrepreneurship – Creating Opportunities Instead of Waiting for Jobs” will be organised by NGO A4C Dasuya in association with Dasmesh Girls College, Mukerian and the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Ministry of Education, on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Dasmesh Girls College, Mukerian.
Jointly addressing the media, Dr. Karamjit Kaur, Principal, Dasmesh Girls College, Mukerian, and Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, President, NGO A4C Dasuya, said that the seminar has been planned with the objective of motivating students and young entrepreneurs to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset and create employment opportunities instead of waiting for jobs. They stated that entrepreneurship is the driving force behind innovation, economic growth, and self-reliance, and such initiatives will help nurture leadership, creativity, and business acumen among the youth.
They informed that Ms. Balvinder Kaur, IRS, Commissioner of Income Tax, Jalandhar, will grace the seminar as the Chief Guest. Eminent personalities from industry and academia, including Dr. H. S. Cheema, Chairman, Cheema Boilers Limited; Dr. Kamaljeet Singh, Chairman, Green Planet; Shri Ved Parkash Gupta, Vice President, Indian Sucrose Limited, Mukerian; Shri Ravinder Sharma, Chief Financial Officer, Indian Sucrose Limited; Shri Kunal Yadav, CMD, Indian Sucrose Limited, Mukerian; Ms. Maansi Tandon, Entrepreneur, Hoshiarpur; and Shri Bikram Singh Chakk, Administrative Director, Dasmesh Girls College, Mukerian, will address the participants and share their experiences on entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, and business development.
The programme will feature a welcome ceremony, Shabad by students, ceremonial lamp lighting, welcome address, introduction of guests and the seminar theme, expert sessions by distinguished speakers, presidential address, felicitation of guests, the National Anthem, vote of thanks, and lunch.
Dr. Karamjit Kaur and Mr. Sanjeev Kumar appealed to students, faculty members, aspiring entrepreneurs, industrialists, and members of the public to participate in the seminar and take inspiration from the valuable insights of accomplished professionals and business leaders, making the event a meaningful platform for promoting innovation and entrepreneurship among the youth.
