Hoshiarpur/ Daljeet Ajnoha /August 3— Surinder Singh Bhulewal Rathan, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) in-charge for Garhshankar and former MLA, held a meeting with Akali workers from the Beet circle at Adda Jhungian to discuss the upcoming assembly elections. Addressing party activists, Bhulewal Rathan claimed that numerous development works in the Beet area were completed during the SAD government. He listed key projects as follows:
Installation of a 66 kV grid sub-station at Dallewal to improve power supply.
Construction of a 30-bed Community Health Centre (CHC) at Adda Jhungian (Binewal).
Erection of a memorial tower dedicated to Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaj at Khurlaar Sahib (Begumpura) at an estimated cost of around Rs 120 crore.
Installation of a large number of tubewells for drinking water schemes and irrigation.
He alleged that subsequent governments after the Akali administration failed to carry out any significant work for the people of the Beet area, causing widespread disappointment among residents. Bhulewal Rathan urged party workers to reach out to the public and highlight the development projects completed during the Akali Dal’s tenure so voters can judge which party actually worked for the region.
