Immense enthusiasm witnessed among devotees during the 5-day religious grand ceremony
MAJARI/July 9/Daljeet Ajnoha : Inspired by the divine consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, the heartfelt wish of the residents of village Majari was fulfilled today when Sri Ram Darbar was ceremoniously enshrined with great pomp and religious fervor at the historic Siddh Sri Baba Balak Nath Temple at Village Majari. The 5-day idol consecration process, which commenced on Sunday with the ritualistic holy bath (Murti Ishnan) at Barmoti, successfully concluded on Thursday, amid immense devotion and enthusiasm from the local community.
The holy initiative was spearheaded by the Negi family, known for their proactive contributions to noble causes, dedicating the establishment of Sri Ram Darbar to the loving memory of their mother, Smt. Savitri Devi, and their late father, Shri Shankar Das. The entire consecration ceremony was performed under the divine guidance and leadership of Sri Sri 1008 Sri Hemanand Maharaj.
It is worth mentioning that after a long wait of nearly 500 years, when the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of the Sri Ram Temple took place in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024, every devotee was deeply emotional. At that time, large screens were set up at the Siddh Sri Baba Balak Nath Temple in Majari for the live telecast, where locals, moved to tears of joy, performed ‘Aarti’ in front of their screens. Witnessing that historic moment created a deep longing among the devotees to establish a Sri Ram Darbar in their own village temple. Within just two years, by the grace of Lord Ram, their prayers were answered today as Sri Ram Darbar was ceremoniously enshrined in the temple.
During today’s grand conclusion, a massive gathering of devotees from village Majari and far-flung areas attended to pay their obeisance and seek the blessings of Sri Sri 1008 Sri Hemanand Maharaj.
On the final day, renowned devotional singer Ajay Mahi enthralled the congregation with his popular spiritual hymns, leaving everyone spellbound.
