Grand ‘Adi Dharm’ centenary celebration

Hoshiarpur/ Sep 8 /Daljeet Ajnoha : Marking the 100th anniversary of Adi Dharm — a movement founded to strengthen equality, social justice and communal harmony — a grand “Mahan Adi Dharm Samaroh” will be held on November 1 at Dera Sant Mela Ram Nagar (Phillaur), with devotees from across India and abroad participating in large numbers.
Announcement at card release ceremony
The announcement was made by Sant Sarwan Das Ji, gaddi nasheen of Dera 108 Sant Sital Das Bohan, while releasing invitation cards for the centenary celebrations among the congregation. He said the event would be observed with great devotion under his guidance and the supervision of Sant Paramjit Das Ji Nagar Wale.
Sant Satvinder Heera, national president of All India Adi Dharm Mission (Regd.), from Sri Guru Ravidas Itihasik Dharam Asthan Charan Chhoh Sachkhand Begampura, Sri Khuralgarh Sahib, and Mahant Preshottam Lal, gaddi nasheen of Itihasik Dera Sri Guru Ravidas Mandir Sachkhand Chak Hakim, Phagwara, shared details of the programme. They said the functions would see the participation of prominent national figures, saints, scholars, intellectuals and a large number of devotees from India and overseas.
Call for mass participation and census identity
The organisers appealed to all followers to attend in large numbers and “raise the flag of Adi Dharm”, while also urging people to record “Adi Dharm” as their religion in the census and help establish its distinct identity. They linked this effort to the movement’s core ideals of equality, equal rights and brotherhood, and called on supporters to mark their presence at the November 1 city function to reinforce these values.
The card-release event was attended by Captain B.K. Nayar (England), retired Inspector Ram Bhaj Karari, Luvpreet (Dera Bohan), Giani Ravinder Singh Harmoa Thakur Das and others.
