Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/August 28: In a statement issued to the press after his homecoming to Congress, former cabinet minister Sundar Sham Arora said that he had joined BJP one and a half years ago and he apologizes to Punjab and Punjabis for this. Because, he thought that there is a BJP government at the center and he will be able to work better for the interests of Punjab. But his thinking was wrong, so he has decided to rejoin Congress. Mr. Arora said that in the recent Lok Sabha elections, the people of Punjab have given huge support and the love of the people has shown that Congress is the one which has been working for the progress of Punjab, peace establishment and strengthening mutual brotherhood. Mr. Arora said that by staying in Congress, he will work to strengthen Punjabis and Punjabiat. Congress has always promoted secularism and has given importance to secular people. Mr Arora said that he has no complaints against any BJP leader. He said that Rahul Gandhi is working very hard to get Punjab its due rights as per the Constitution of India and under his leadership he will also serve the people with full dedication. Mr Arora also appealed to the city residents to support him for the prosperity of the city and Punjab. It is worth mentioning that Mr Arora has been inducted into the Congress by Congress General Secretary and Punjab affairs in-charge Davinder Yadav.
