Inspector Ramandeep Kaur takes charge

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/April 9 : Inspector Ramandeep Kaur has assumed charge as the Station House Officer (SHO) at Mahilpur police station.
A long-serving sub-inspector at the same station, Kaur was promoted to inspector by the government just a week ago and appointed as the head of the station.
In her first address after taking charge, she urged local residents to promptly report mischievous elements loitering near college gates, bus stands, and hospitals.
She warned that drug peddlers would be swiftly dealt with, especially those firing bullet bike silencers or riding motorcycles without number plates, adding that no recommendations would be entertained upon their arrest.
Kaur also appealed to Mahilpur residents and shopkeepers for cooperation in maintaining traffic rules in the area.
