Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/April 26 : Shiromani Akali Dal’s district urban president and senior vice-president Jatinder Singh Lali Bajwa was specially honoured by Jagtar Singh, circle president, and Iqbal Singh Gopi. Party leaders and workers attended in large numbers.
Addressing the gathering, Lali Bajwa said the Akali Dal, under party president Sukhbir Singh Badal’s leadership, is advancing strongly and is the only force capable of resolving Punjabis’ problems. He added that the party will raise people’s issues even more forcefully in the coming times.
Bajwa remarked that the party Punjabis elected in 2022 for change is now on the verge of collapse. “Just as rats leap from a sinking ship, AAP’s leaders are now jumping ship from their sinking boat to save themselves,” he said.
He alleged that when it was time to send representatives from Punjab to the Rajya Sabha, Arvind Kejriwal’s coterie had sold seats through deals, which now stands proven.
Those present included Harjit Singh, Colonel Singh, Dilbag Singh, Jasvir Singh, Gurmukh Singh, Japinderpal Singh Atwal, Ravindarpal Singh Mintu, and Davinder Singh.
