Lamrin Tech Skills University, Punjab

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Feb.14 : Lamrin Tech Skills University (LTSU), Punjab, in collaboration with the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Development & Facilitation Office (DFO), Ludhiana, organized a One-Day Awareness Workshop on the PM Vishwakarma Scheme at Lamrin Tech Skills University campus, SBS Nagar.
The objective of the workshop was to disseminate information and create awareness among artisans and entrepreneurs regarding the provisions of the PM Vishwakarma Scheme, including government support mechanisms, skill development initiatives, and financial assistance.
The program was graced by distinguished officers and dignitaries including Sh. Mohit, Assistant Director, MSME; DFO, Ludhiana; Sh. Varnu Dhawan, Manager, Indian Postal Banking; and Smt. Neha, District Industries Centre (DIC), Ropar., Prof. (Dr.) A. S. Chawla, Vice Chancellor; Prof. (Dr.) B. S. Satyal, Registrar; Sh. Vimal Roy Manhotra, Chief Executive Officer; Dr. Ashutosh Sharma, Executive Dean; Sh. Sachin Jain, Executive Dean (Admissions & Corporate Relations); and Mrs. Mandeep Kaur, Deputy Director (Government Projects) were present.
Officers from the MSME Development & Facilitation Office, District Industries Centre, Indian Postal Banking Service and skill experts from LTSU addressed the participants and provided detailed briefings on the PM Vishwakarma Scheme, skill development initiatives, financial assistance, loan facilitation, and other measures aimed at strengthening traditional artisans and craftsmen.
A significant number of artisans and entrepreneurs participated in the workshop and engaged in discussions with the resource persons. The programme was well received by the participants.
Lamrin Tech Skills University reiterated its commitment to supporting skill development initiatives and promoting awareness programmes for the benefit of traditional artisans in the future.
