Hoshiarpur/ August 7/Daljeet Ajnoha :The Eye Donation Association, Hoshiarpur, today successfully collected the eyes (corneas) of Late Sardar Kuldip Singh, resident of Mohalla Chand Nagar, Bahadurpur, Hoshiarpur, following his demise.
The Association expressed its heartfelt gratitude and paid a salute to the noble donor and his family members for taking the compassionate decision to donate his eyes and give the gift of sight to others. Such selfless acts serve as an inspiration to society and help spread the message of eye donation.
Members of the Eye Donation Association were present during the eye donation procedure and extended their support to the bereaved family.
Those present included S. Suresh Chand Kapatia, President; S. Baljit Singh, General Secretary; S. Gurpreet Singh; Mrs. Jatinder Kaur; and Mrs. Santosh Saini.
The Eye Donation Association appealed to the public to come forward and pledge their eyes, emphasizing that eye donation is a noble act through which the gift of sight can continue even after one’s lifetime.
