Mission Rozgar: Cabinet Minister Dr.

As part of the Punjab government’s “Mission Rozgar,” Cabinet Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh today presented appointment letters to 28 newly appointed Anganwadi workers and 48 helpers from the Sham Chaurasi constituency.
While distributing the letters, Dr. Ravjot Singh said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government is fulfilling its promise to provide employment to youth through transparent, merit-based recruitment. Congratulating the new appointees, he said Anganwadi centres are a vital component of government efforts for women’s and children’s health, nutrition and early education. He added that these new appointments will not only strengthen child development services but also ensure better delivery of government schemes to needy families.
The minister noted that the Aam Aadmi Party-led government has so far provided 68,228 government jobs across the state through entirely transparent and merit-based processes. He said large-scale recruitments across departments since the government took office have restored youth confidence in public recruitment and encouraged greater participation in competitive examinations.
Dr. Ravjot Singh said the Punjab government is working for the welfare of all sections and has given top priority to job creation. Regular recruitments in various departments, he observed, have further strengthened youth trust in government employment. In line with Chief Minister Mann’s vision, the state is providing employment opportunities to deserving youth without recommendations or corruption.
He appealed to the newly appointed workers and helpers to perform their duties with dedication, honesty and a spirit of service, and to help ensure that government schemes for women and children reach every household. Dr. Singh thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and said the government is taking continuous, effective steps to create new opportunities for employment and development in Punjab. He added that the government aims to provide jobs to every deserving youth in the state while improving delivery of public services.
CDPO Ravinder Kaur, Harpreet Singh Dhami and Kamal Dhoot were present on the occasion. The minister extended his best wishes to all the newly appointed Anganwadi workers and helpers, wishing them a successful tenure dedicated to public service.
